Self Help, Depression Hacks & Positivity Quote to Remember

“THIS QUOTE STANDS ALONE”

I just came across this quote sitting in my files, likely copied long ago for an article I must have been writing. It struck me that this particular quote can be applied to almost all of the blog posts we have written thus far on Wit & Wisdom 4U, especially;  RUN YOUR OWN RACE, BE GOOD = GET GOOD, SMILE MORE, and DON’T BE A MEAN GIRL, OR A MEANER WOMAN. The quote is so powerful that I just couldn’t pair it with one single post. It deserves to stand alone.

“I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated and a person humanized or dehumanized . . .”

Johan Wolfgang von Goethe
